Who doesn’t want to increase his/ her style content while playing? One of the best ways to do so while playing the guitar is to enter your chord progressions/ solos with a slide on either the top/ bottom 2 strings.
But wait a sec. This is not as easy as it looks. The most critical thing needed in order to make a slide is perfect timing. And that is what we shall be learning in this Free lesson. We shall be doing 4 exercises in order to master that perfect slide.
Ex 1 – Strum on the 4th beat (4/4)
Ex 2 – Slide towards the neck on the 4th beat (4/4)
Ex 3 – Slide away from the neck on the 4th beat (4/4)
Ex 4 – Slide towards the neck and then away on the 6th and 7th beat (8/8)
Ex 5 – Slide towards the neck and then away between the 3rd and 4th beat (4/4)
Do not forget to use the practice backing track at the end of the video which has a metronome beat ranging from 80 BPM to 130 BPM.
